Kristi Welch

Kristi truly enjoys helping others make one of the largest investments of their life. Whether working with a home buyer or seller, she wants every client to always feel catered to and never pressured to make a decision unless it's right.

Drawing on her 20+ years of experience in mortgage lending, Kristi made the natural transition to residential real estate brokerage in 2014. Her seasoned skills, understanding of the mortgage process, and finance expertise prove highly advantageous to clients in her real estate practice.

Kristi more recently became co-founder of The WLTeam at Compass with partner Cathy LeBrecque, with whom she shares the same passion and dedication to top-quality client service. She also brings unique value with her thoroughness in handling paperwork and contracts, keen attention to details, ethical business dealings, and fairness in negotiating. Her approach in all transactions is to be honest, proactive, and dedicated to providing results and care that go above and beyond.

Having owned several properties including condos, townhomes, single-family homes and investments, Kristi is well equipped to represent clients' needs of all kinds. She specializes in the South Shore of Boston and provides comprehensive offerings that go beyond brokerage such as consultations, staging and contractor services.

A South Shore resident for over 30 years, Kristi currently lives in Plymouth, MA in The Pinehills Community. She was born and raised in New Jersey, and graduated from Northeastern University in Boston with a degree in Finance, Kristi has three grown children and is an avid tennis player. Among her other interests are pickle ball, the beach, and outdoor activities.
