Kristin was born and raised in the midwest but has called Austin home since October 31, 2004. Because of this milestone move on Halloween, the holiday and the Austin bats have special meaning to her. Since then, she has grown to know and appreciate all of the unique and diverse neighborhoods offers Austin and its residents.

In her free time, Kristin is with her two daughters and family enjoying everything Austin has to offer. She loves cooking, gardening, yoga, running, live music and the arts. She volunteers weekly in the library and classrooms at her children's school.
