Over a decade ago, I traded making arguments in court for negotiating offers on homes. I transitioned from attorney to realtor with a clear goal in mind: to build a flexible career that would allow me to be present for my children’s school and extracurricular activities, while still working in a field where I could leverage my legal training.
I love how being a mother continues to make me a better realtor. Beyond identifying good schools, I understand that a sunken living room isn’t always practical for babies and young children, that a four-bedroom home with two bedrooms upstairs and two downstairs may not suit many young families (and can be difficult to resell later), and that horizontal fence railings can quickly become an inviting—and dangerous—ladder for little ones.
In the excitement and stress of searching for a home, these important details are easy to overlook. I will be the person who will think of all the things—big and small—that matter. I am honest, ethical, and communicative, and I value those same qualities in my clients. I would be honored to help you with your move.
