Lacie Defraties started her real estate career in 2021 with a deep-rooted passion for serving the people of Chicago. A Chicagoland native, former DePaul cheerleader, and Division I athlete, Lacie’s love for the city blossomed while living downtown, where she developed a keen eye for community growth and urban development.
After earning her degree from Indiana University, Lacie expanded her horizons living in both Arizona and California before returning home to Chicago. It was here that she seamlessly merged her strengths in networking, client relations, and real estate, building a business that spans from leasing to luxury sales, affordable condo purchases to multi-million dollar homes. No matter the price point, Lacie believes everyone deserves to feel proud of where they live, and she’s dedicated to making that happen.
In addition to sales, Lacie has a strong background in luxury property management. She’s overseen more than $100 million in real estate throughout River North, Gold Coast, and Lincoln Park, working closely with HOA boards, engineers, and maintenance teams. From high-end condo operations to complex budgeting and building projects, she brings unmatched value and insight to homeowners and investors alike.
With a long-standing career in hospitality, Lacie is known for her approachable demeanor, upfront communication style, and laser-focused ability to meet her clients’ needs. As a condo owner herself, she brings hands-on experience to every deal.
