"There are no words to describe how grateful we are for working with Larry Gilman as our realtor. He went more then above and beyond to get us the house my family dreamed about. I don't know anyone else who is so committed to providing excellent service like he is. He is truly the star. It was a sprint that became 14 months marathon for him, and we did it. He did it, he was there for us all that time. Story below. We started to look for the house sometime in April 2021 - the worst possible time. We knew that looking for an older house would be very stressful with all the bidding wars and waived inspections - I did not want to go through this. I wanted to focus on new builds with builder without bidding wars. Our first meeting with Larry lasted several hours. We drove through different areas with new constructions where Larry leveraged his previous building experience and explained differences in construction by different builders. I am quite knowledgeable, but I learned from him in 2 hours more than in past 20 years. We settled on the neighborhood I was interested in, and we waited for Priority lists to be open. We got lucky and signed the contract on June 2021 for a new house. Since that time, we met with Larry on weekly basis to monitor progress. No matter if it was raining or 110 degrees, sometimes early in the morning, sometimes at night. With all the construction delays, our original closing date moved from January 2022 to June 2022. All this time, Larry did all he could to ensure our house is built up to standards. He did follow up with builder/sales when concerns arose. When we finally closed on our house 2 weeks ago, we were so happy. It was also a bit sad moment. We spent so much time with Larry over the past year that we became friends, and now his job is done, I will not get to see him every week.
