Lata came to New York from India in 1987 and since then, she has lived in many places on Long Island and Queens, giving her extensive experience with various neighborhoods on the North Shore of Long Island and Queens. She has been part of the Old Westbury and Jericho communities for over 12 years. She has developed an intimate knowledge of the Jericho school district, as her two sons went through the schools.
