Accessible and down to earth, Laura approaches every search for a perfect home thoughtfully, tailoring this experience to fit her client’s needs. Her decades-long success as a Brooklyn-based retail business owner can be attributed to her personal management style, her collaborative partnerships and her strong negotiation skills. As a Brooklyn homeowner and landlord herself, she has firsthand knowledge for the buying, selling and rental processes. By offering expert guidance, utilizing the latest technology and innovative marketing strategies Laura is able to ensure the most desirable outcome for each of her clients.
Laura’s aesthetic approach when staging and presenting properties is guided in large part by her childhood love of design and fashion. A business owner at the age of 30, she opened 4PLAYBK, her first Park Slope, Brooklyn boutique, which offered Laura’s customers her vision of trend-driven style with a comfort and confidence that made her a neighborhood destination spot. She continued this commitment to beauty, quality and value by opening Habit. For over 20 years she consistently delivered an intimate lifestyle shopping experience where her clientele was welcomed like friends and left feeling like family. This personal approach continues to be evident in every one of Laura’s client relationships. The transition from Brooklyn retailer to Brooklyn real estate is a natural extension of Laura’s passions skills and life experiences. Buying, selling or renting a home can be daunting. But Laura believes it can ultimately be one of the most fun, fulfilling and exhilarating experiences of your life when you are in the right hands.
In her spare time you can find Laura vacationing with her family at their cabin in the Berkshires, volunteering at Camp Friendship Food Pantry, exploring new restaurants with her restaurateur husband, and exposing her 9-year old son to the beauty, culture and excitement of New York City’s diverse neighborhoods.
