About Laura
A member of the award-winning Barkin Group with Compass in Fort Lauderdale, a decade ago Laura Lang transitioned a successful corporate career, specializing in sales and management for Pfizer Pharmaceuticals for almost twenty years, into a full-time commitment to real estate. Laura has been recognized professionally as a multi-million-dollar producer, and has a broad base of expertise, encompassing new homes, luxury residences, corporate relocation, waterfront properties, condominiums, residential leasing, relocation, seasonal ownership, and more. Working with buyers and sellers, Laura, who holds membership in the exclusive Master Brokers Forum, is naturally engaging, goal-oriented, and well-connected, with a demonstrated willingness and drive to get the job done.

Laura is a native of Fort Lauderdale, giving her a unique insiderā€™s perspective into this flourishing region. She attended St. Anthony Catholic School and Cardinal Gibbons Catholic High School prior to pursuing her bachelorā€™s degree from Southern Methodist University in Dallas, where she was a member of the tennis team. She still plays tennis, and enjoys yoga and boating. Laura and her husband have two children, a daughter who is a third-grade teacher at St. Markā€™s Episcopal School in Fort Lauderdale and a son who is an attorney that lives in St. Petersburg.
