Laura earned a B.S. in Economics, graduating Summa Cum Laude from George Mason University. She home schooled her four children in the past, worked as an education consultant, and has strong ties to her community. Currently residing in the Braddock Heights neighborhood of Alexandria with a menagerie of pets, Laura has called Northern VA home since the early 1980s. Laura donates to top-rated New Story Charity with each transaction, volunteers at the Carpenter’s Shelter for Homeless Families, and served as Treasurer and board member at her kids’ school.
