For Laura Tiggelaar, real estate is about much more than buying or selling a home. It’s about building relationships, understanding what matters most to her clients, and being there every step of the way.
Before entering real estate, Laura spent more than a decade in the corporate world, building a career centered around client relationships, business development, and helping people navigate important decisions. Her experience gave her a strong foundation in communication, negotiation, problem-solving, and most importantly putting the client first.
After years of building relationships and working with clients across the country, Laura decided it was time for a new chapter. In 2026, she became a licensed real estate broker and joined her husband Hayes in the real estate business he originally founded as Hayes for Homes.
Today, Laura leads the day-to-day operations of Haylo Homes Group and works alongside Hayes to provide clients with a more personal, full-circle real estate experience. Together, they bring complementary perspectives to every transaction—Laura’s background in client relationships and business paired with Hayes’ hands-on experience in remodeling, investing, and real estate.
A lifelong Illinois resident and Northern Illinois University graduate, Laura has a genuine connection to the communities she serves. She believes buying or selling a home should feel less overwhelming and more personal, and she takes pride in keeping her clients informed, supported, and confident from the first conversation to the closing table.
Outside of real estate, Laura enjoys spending time with Hayes and their two young children, Beckett and Brynlee, and making the most of life on their "mini farm" and spending her free time at a lakehouse in Wisconsin.
Whether you're buying your first home, making a move, or preparing to sell, Laura’s goal is simple: to make the process feel personal, approachable, and as stress-free as possible.
