"As first time home buyers, we are very grateful to have worked with Lauren. She's all you would ever want in a realtor: knowledgeable about the city, great people person, realistic, savvy, communicative, and simply a pleasure to work with! We're sure she is excellent with seasoned buyers, but we can attest that she certainly has a knack for working with first-time buyers. She educated us all along the way, helped us negotiate strategically, gave us great recommendations for various service providers, and has been a fantastic resource all around." - Elizabeth G.
"I highly recommend Lauren for all of your house buying or selling needs! She's knowledgeable, helpful, accessible, and incredibly fun to be around! She helped guide us through our move to Chicago from New Jersey and made the whole process easy. Whenever we needed a referral for someone during any part of the process, Lauren always "had a guy." Lauren's personality and knowledge of the Chicagoland area made what could've been a stressful time, a smooth transition. If you're thinking of buying or selling your house, Lauren is who you want to help you!" - Joe and Christa L.
"We have worked with Lauren on two different deals (buying and selling) and cannot recommend her enough! She is knowledgeable, responsive and a pleasure to work with. When an offer on our condo fell through at the last minute, Lauren got us back on the market the very next day and we had multiple offers in hand by the end of that weekend - that is exactly the type of real estate agent you want to work with! We highly recommend working with Lauren!" - Phil C.

Lauren's StoryWhat do you get when you combine a teacher, a comedian and a COO? Either the start of a really bad joke or an attentive, knowledgeable, detail-oriented, and entertaining real estate agent.
In this case, we've got the latter.
Lauren Herskovic - founding member of Moda Group, Women of Compass Regional President, and creator of the popular “Who Wants to be a Homebuyer” Trivia Night - specializes in helping home buyers and sellers in the (greatest!) city of Chicago. (She’s also pretty great at multi-tasking.) The homebuying process is opaque, the market is constantly shifting and the investment is huge, making it scary and overwhelming for everyone from first time homebuyers to seasoned homeowners. But Lauren’s focus on educating her clients, constant communication, and utilizing tried and true systems, make a seamless and (dare we say it?!) fun experience for her clients.
“Lauren was hands down the best resource we could have asked for in looking for our first condo. Not only did she guide us through the whole process smoothly, but every other resource she recommended, from inspectors to lenders to attorneys, was incredible.” - Kelly, First Time Homebuyer in Chicago
"Lauren is an incredibly knowledgeable agent and a true professional! She is well-versed in the Chicago market and was instrumental in getting my condo sold within 5 days(!). She is resourceful and made critical-to-success recommendations during every step in the process. I couldn't have sold my place without her as my agent and I'm grateful for the overall seamless experience." - Jacob, First Time Seller in Chicago
Lauren grew up in suburban Detroit and now lives (and house-hacks!) in Avondale. She got a BA in English and Secondary Education from the University of Michigan (Go Blue!). She then served as Editor in Chief for an online women’s magazine in NYC before working as COO for a consulting company based in Chicago, taking the company from a 3-person operation to a team of 100+ with offices in the US and China.
In her free time, she reads books, takes pictures of her food and binge-watches Bravo with her Toy Poodle, Harvey.
