"Selling and buying real estate in Manhattan is a notoriously stressful process. That's why we chose Lauren. She advised us on prepping our condo sale, helped us negotiate a multiple offer situation and got us top dollar. On the flip side, she patiently guided us through the -op purchase process to ensure that we put our best foot forward with the board. She always provided the highest level of expertise and professionalism and we are extremely happy to have had her working on our behalf.

"Just wanted to extend our sincere gratitude for all that you did to facilitate our apartment search. You went above and beyond to accommodate our
interests, answer our countless questions and allay our fears. It was a pleasure getting to know you and we would definitely recommend you without hesitation (and have already).

"Lauren helped me find my coop while I was going through a divorce. She provided the exact combination of professionalism and friendship throughout the process -- from showing me apartments, negotiating a price, gathering the necessary paperwork, and finally to the closing -- at a very stressful time in my life. I always felt she was working for me, never wasted my time, and I couldn’t be happier with the results." - Ellen
"The only thing worse than not having a great apartment in NYC is the fear of not being able to rent it when you are offered a dream job and have to relocate to Europe in a matter of months. This is the situation I found myself in when I turned to Lauren Kende to ask her to take on the challenge of renting my -op apartment in Hell’sKitchen. Making things even more interesting – since I was vacating my apartment in October, she needed to find a tenant and have them approved by the board before the start of the new year in the midst of the economic recession. Undaunted, Lauren accepted the task. Candid and honest about the challenges, her knowledge of the competitive rental market in my neighborhood helped me set realistic expectations, as well as a reasonable price and marketing strategy. From start to finish, Lauren took care of everything. She even set me up with a management company to oversee my property while I was abroad. As I had already relocated to Europe, everything was handled by e-mail without delays. Lauren overwhelmingly exceeded my expectations, renting my apartment on short notice for a good rental amount. To put the icing on the cake, the tenant was a well-known celebrity. Needless to say, I am very thankful for all Lauren has done for me as a realtor and she will be my first call to address my real estate needs when I return to NYC." - Ronald
When not working, Lauren can often be found playing tennis. Lauren took up tennis in 2006 and it quickly became one of her favorite activities. Already a fan of Riverside Park, discovering the tennis courts at 96th Street was one of the best things she ever did. In addition to being able to play tennis in a beautiful spot, she has been a long-time supporter of the Riverside Clay Tennis Association's mission, as sponsor of the summer concerts, as board member, and via her Give-Back donation program. In 2021, she will be the Ladder and Tournament Sponsor and will continue donating a portion of any commissions she earns from RCTA-sourced business back to this community organization.
