For more than 20 years, Layne was a key member of the Eleazer Group at Briggs Freeman Sotheby’s International Realty, along with her mother Joan Eleazer, where she earned repeat Top Team Producer honors. More recently, the two formed Eleazer + Pitzer at Compass. Their work resulted in more than $83 million in sales in 2024.

A Dallas native and a graduate of Park Cities schools, Layne is personally connected to and knowledgeable about Dallas’s most prestigious neighborhoods. She is a graduate of University of Texas at Austin, where she earned a dual degree in business and Spanish.
As a mother of school-age children, she offers unique insights for families, particularly those relocating to the area. Layne's commitment extends beyond real estate; she actively supports the Dallas community through organizations like the Crystal Charity Ball, Genesis Women’s Shelter, The Family Place, and Children’s Medical Center/Women’s Auxiliary.
