About Leo

Leo Dodier brings an unparalleled depth of experience to his role as a real estate broker/agent with Compass. With over 30 years in the industry, Leo's dedication to his clients is reflected in his extensive skill set and certifications, which encompass appraising, sales, property renovation, mortgage lending, property management, and the acquisition and development of both residential and commercial investment properties. Additionally, Leo is a professional real estate photographer and a licensed FAA Part 107 drone pilot, ensuring that properties are showcased in their best light to attract potential buyers.

As a real estate appraiser and broker, Leo began his real estate journey in the Palm Beach Florida market. He received the prestigious SRA (Senior Residential Appraiser) certification in 1990 and in 2015 received the coveted Certified Luxury Agent designation. This expertise enables Leo to accurately price homes and achieve optimal sale prices for his clients. His ability to collaborate effectively with lenders' appraisers results in a higher percentage of homes appraising at contract price.

His dedication to community service extends beyond his professional life, as demonstrated by his participation in six mission trips over 15 years to places like Haiti, Honduras, Nicaragua, Colombia, and San Francisco’s Tenderloin Area. Notably, he contributed to rebuilding efforts in Haiti following the earthquake, offering spiritual and emotional support as a Chaplain through the Billy Graham Evangelistic Association. 

As a father of two grown children and a 2-year-old black lab, he balances his professional life with personal passions, including scuba diving, cycling, camping and as a private pilot. He is the current President of the Hawaii Chapter of the Porsche Club of America and has been a member of the PCA since 1998.  Leo enjoys capturing the beauty of Hawaii with his photography.

Based on the Big Island, Leo maintains broker’s and appraisal licenses in both Hawaii and Florida.
