Leonard Bayer brings 40 years of expertise to the real estate industry, blending a deep understanding of sales, marketing, financing, operations, management and development, with an impressive track record of success. Throughout his career, Leonard has managed, marketed, sold, leased, and financed an extraordinary range of commercial and residential properties. His accomplishments include successfully marketing over 5 million square feet of commercial and retail space and overseeing the sale of thousands of apartments, condominiums, and homes. A New York State Real Estate Broker and a Broker "A" member of the Real Estate Board of New York (REBNY), Leonard is also a dedicated leader in his community, serving on the Board of Directors for COHME https://www.cohme.org (Concerned Home Managers for the Elderly) and the Port Harbor Condominium. Leonard's journey in real estate began in 1985 when he brought his technology background—honed through high-profile roles at Xerox and NYNEX—into the industry. Leveraging his expertise, he pioneered the automation of real estate processes, revolutionizing accounting, database management, and marketing workflows. Prior to this, Leonard had successfully completed assignments with prominent high-tech firms after attending Queens College and the University of South Florida.
 
Over the years, Leonard has earned numerous accolades, including the prestigious Freddie Mac Builder of the Year Award and the National Association of Home Builders Awards for Sales and Marketing and Best Mixed-Use Development. These honors were awarded for his work on the Cove Club in Battery Park City, a 250,000-square-foot condominium development that seamlessly integrated commercial, retail, garage, and residential spaces. As the former President of Goodstein Realty, Leonard co-founded and expanded the brokerage alongside Ivan Goodstein, growing it to 12 offices with 300 agents and annual sales exceeding $350 million. This success culminated in the 2004 sale of the company to Douglas Elliman Real Estate.
 
Leonard is Director of the Goodstein Organization and Chief Operating Officer of Goodstein Development Corp., Leonard oversees the firm’s daily operations, evaluates new acquisition opportunities, and leads the strategic positioning, sales, and marketing of active developments.
