Libby Clarke

Libby Clarke, founding partner of the JLC Team, started her real estate career in 2004 in Washington, DC. With a strong track record of success, she and her team are consistently recognized as top residential real estate advisors.  One of Libby's greatest joys is meeting new people and guiding them through the intricacies of the real estate process, whether it involves buying a new home or selling a cherished property they have called home for decades.  Throughout her real estate career, Libby has seamlessly merged her ability to build strong relationships with her sharp business acumen, providing clients with a highly responsive and friendly service that consistently helps them achieve their goals. 

Libby is a founding member of REALE (Real Estate Agents Leading on Electrification).  REALE's mission is to educate the real estate profession, clients, and communities about using their homes as tools to combat climate change while increasing value, health, and comfort, and ensuring sustainability for all communities and future generations. 

Born and raised in Denver, Colorado, Libby grew up alongside her ten siblings. She graduated from St. Mary's College of California with a degree in communications and subsequently launched her career with a position in the Senate Finance Committee and non profit organizations. Since 1988, she has resided on Capitol Hill with her husband, where they have raised their four daughters. Actively involved in the community as a volunteer and neighbor, Libby cherishes the city and its vibrant atmosphere and is excited to share her knowledge with you.
