Lilly Rockwell knows Austin inside and out — she was born here, raised in Central Austin neighborhoods like Bouldin and Allandale, and has spent her career putting down roots in the community she calls home.
Before real estate, Lilly earned her bachelor's degrees in Journalism and Government from the University of Texas and worked as a journalist for 12 years, primarily for the Austin American-Statesman newspaper.
That background trained her to ask the right questions, dig past the surface, and communicate clearly when it counts, along with a dose of a good sense of humor. These are skills she puts to work for her clients every day, from unearthing hard-to-find information to buttering up another agent by making them laugh.
A great listener and fierce negotiator, Lilly is adept at using technology and digging into data to help clients navigate the process of buying or selling a home, and she prides herself in committing to her fiduciary duty to represent their best interests. She works with all types of clients, from first-time homebuyers to seasoned investors, and is a relocation specialist.
Lilly won "Rookie of the Year" in 2018 and was voted Austin's Best Realtor® by readers of the Austin Chronicle in 2018 and 2019. In 2023 and 2024, she was recognized by Austin Home magazine as one of the Best Real Estate Agents in Austin. She also leads the Compass Solos affinity group at Compass, where she has built a great network of strong agents from across the country.
In her free time, Lilly trains for her next running race with Gilbert's Gazelles and sings with the SoCo Women's Chorus. She also loves reading - finishing about 50 books a year - traveling, and trying new restaurants with her husband, Mark Hollis.
Lately she feels like she's running a nursing home for geriatric pets: her dog Hannah is 15, spunky and deaf, and her cat Winston is 17, diabetic, and doesn't know where his litter box is.
