The Linda Takenaka Group is a family-owned and operated real estate team led by native South Austinite Cory Morrison and Linda Takenaka, who has proudly called Austin home for more than 40 years. As a second-generation real estate advisor, Cory has grown up surrounded by the industry. After graduating from Texas State University with a B.A. in Management in 2018, he committed to pursuing a career in real estate and has since been guiding clients through Austin’s dynamic and ever-evolving market. Cory brings experience across many fields including personal homes, investment properties, and new construction. Having lived in Austin his entire life, his deep understanding of the city’s neighborhoods, schools, and lifestyle offerings allows his clients to make confident, informed decisions.

Linda relocated to Austin from Oahu, Hawaii 35 years ago and quickly made the city her home. She entered the real estate industry 31 years ago, gaining invaluable experience working with prominent home builders such as Newmark Homes and Morrison Homes. Through this work, she played an instrumental role in developing well-known South Austin and Dripping Springs communities including Circle C, Belterra, and Bear Creek. Her time with builders provided firsthand knowledge of quality construction and the full home-building process. After 11 years, Linda transitioned into the real estate advisor role, allowing her to serve her clients’ needs more completely.

Together, Cory and Linda share a deep appreciation for the Central Texas area and its growth over the years. They have seen Austin transform from a sleepy college town into the vibrant city it is today and truly believe it is one of the best places to live. Whether assisting first-time buyers or long-term investors, they are committed to helping clients achieve their own version of the Austin dream with expertise, care, and dedication.
