Linda Trevor

Linda has been a licensed REALTOR since 1998 and has a MS Ed from SUNY Brockport. Equal parts knowledgeable and professional, Linda is legendary for making the loftiest real estate goals possible, with abundant care, wherever she goes. Her expertise coupled with her desire to make buyers and sellers truly informed with their experience sets her apart from many other REALTORS.  Linda and her team, as fixtures in the local real estate market for many years, have been named a top team in the area (Triangle Business Journal and more).  “For us, going above and beyond is just the beginning,” says Linda.

Known as “the Guiding Light,” she's honored to be the face a seller chooses to represent their most prized asset and the guide a buyer seeks to lead them to their dream home. As a member of the Board of Directors of the Raleigh Regional Association of REALTORS since 2005 (past President), Linda stays involved in the real estate industry's inner network, holding various positions with the NC and National Associations of REALTORS. She has been involved with the Women's Council of REALTORS and Top Producers Council in several leadership roles and feels it helps her clients in knowing they have chosen a REALTOR that demands as much of herself as they do. Along with managing her rental properties (Trevor Properties, LLC), she has also been an NAR Federal Political Coordinator for the United States Congress. “I am always reminded of a quote that says well done is better than well said,” she says.

Prior to real estate and during her summers as a college student, Linda was a white-water rafting tour guide in Alaska for an adventure company owned and operated by her Uncle Bill. “Meeting people from all over the world and seeing the beautiful scenery and wildlife up close was truly special,” Linda says. She was also a family counselor while obtaining her graduate degree from SUNY Brockport. After finishing her degree, Linda was a probation and parole officer in the Rochester, NY area.

Living in the Cary area since 1998, Linda has watched the area expand and is honored to serve in the growth of the local real estate market. Her husband, Tony, is an accomplished sports announcer (Pro Wrestling, Carolina Hurricanes, UNC Football and Basketball) and they have a dog named Spice. Along with their love of international travel, they enjoy spending time in Blowing Rock, NC. Linda says, “North Carolina is such an amazing place. We have the most beautiful weather and can visit the mountains or the beach so easily.” When not assisting her clients, she can be found running or riding her Peloton; she finds it motivating to focus on the goals ahead. 

Linda grew up in Geneva NY, a small town, about an hour from Rochester. Her father was a welder and worked for the same company for over 30 years. Her mother was a radiology technician and was the first x-ray tech to oversee mammograms when they came out in the 70’s. Linda also has a sister who lives in Florida and is her best friend.

Always giving back to the community, Linda raises money for Juvenile Diabetes, Susan G. Komen Race for the Cure, Pretty in Pink Foundation, Children's Miracle Network, and other fine charities. She also participates in the “Compass Cares” program, which supports meaningful causes in our local community.
