About Linda Yan
My name is Linda Wang, and I am a full-time Realtor with Compass in Los Altos. I love what I do because it is such a rewarding profession. I am fluent in Mandarin and English, and I believe in Honesty, Ethics, Integrity, Transparency, and Professionalism. My client’s best interest will always come first and providing the highest level of service is the top priority at all times.
I was born and raised in An Shan, Liao Ning province in Northeast China. I came to the United States in 1997. With a vision of a better life, I worked hard to improve myself, by all means, going from having zero commands of the English language to earning my first business degree in 2004. After the birth of my second child, I decided to devote my life to my family as a full-time mother and housewife. However, in 2013, I became a single mother and the sole provider for my two boys. In order to support the family, I entered the real estate profession. It was not an easy journey traveled, but with the guidance of my Heavenly Father and the support of many of my colleagues, I went through the toughest time in my life and became a professional realtor.
I have been blessed in many ways and still feel very fortunate every moment in my life since starting this profession. Many of my clients have become my friends, mentors, and even my therapist. In many cases, I. truly feel that I have become a member of their families. I so enjoy having dinner at their houses once in a while and listening to them tell me how happy they are with the purchase of their home. This provides me with a deep feeling of satisfaction.
A hobby that I hold very dear is hiking with my clients on early Saturday or Sunday mornings. This provides us with a wonderful opportunity to learn more about each other, far beyond just real estate. My clients are the angels in my life, and I have learned so much from them. I learned not only how to be a better person, but also how to provide better services at work.
