About Loray
You should expect more from your real estate professional. Loray creates a memorable, personalized real estate experience for her Buyers and Sellers by putting their needs first. Few life experiences resemble an emotional “roller-coaster ride” more than navigating through a real estate transaction. Her job is to remove the fear, guide you on your journey and add some fun to the process!

Loray's promise to you: Being prepared.  Committed to excellence and change.  Clear communication.  Active listener.  Attentive to details.  Skilled negotiator.  Honest and fair decision maker.  Lifelong learner. Over 90% of her business comes from repeat clients and trusted referrals.  She is genuinely grateful and humble to serve her “clients for life” for 25 years. For Loray, it is all about the relationships.

Her unique southern name is a combination of her parents - Lorraine and Ray.  Born and raised in Orlando, Florida, she attended college at Furman University in Greenville, SC. Her professional sales career began in Atlanta and New Orleans and moved to the Bay Area in 1984. Loray settled in the SF east bay in 1993, raising four children in the Greenbrook neighborhood in Danville. In 1997, she gratefully switched from the corporate sales track and launched her full-time real estate business.  She has been a consistent top producer year over year helping her clients in all things real estate.

Hobbies include golf, reading, travel, photos/scrapbooking, sewing, movies, hiking, jazzercise, tennis, connecting with friends, cooking, road trips and watching bay area sports teams. Favorite vacation spots - the Florida beaches and Lake Tahoe. Married John Van Riper in 2015, they are empty-nesters and have rightsized into a cozy Danville single story.  7 grown children, 5 grandchildren and two legendary kitties who crossed over the rainbow bridge.

"A true professional!  Loray worked her heart out for us. She is kind, upbeat, knowledgeable, and professional in every way. She even helped us to get rid of our accumulation of stuff from 33 years in the house. The house sold quickly and for a fair price. We enthusiastically recommend Loray!"  Martha & John

"Loray made the sales process so smooth and easy for me!  What a great experience! Loray handled every detail with grace and professionalism. "My wife and I had an incredible time working with Loray. She made us feel like we were her top priority through every stage in the experience and had amazing levels of patience when it came to playing with our 4 year old son, who wanted her constant attention. Loray is clearly someone you can trust with such a big decision, who will take the time to understand your needs and help explain everything you need to know. I feel like we made a new friend! I have already referred her to another member of my family who is making a similar move. Loray is a rock star!"  Peter R.
