"Lori Elam exceeded expectations throughout the entire process of selling our condo and buying a new home. She is patient, responsive, and thorough and took the time to guide us through everything... from understanding the buying and selling process, to offering suggestions (when asked) about what we should/shouldn't update to get more money out of our condo, to reviewing contracts for accuracy, and even providing recommendations for reputable inspectors. Buying and selling a home is stressful, but a lot of that stress is alleviated when you have a rock star realtor in your corner. We had a few bumps along the way, with an offer being withdrawn, but that didn't faze Lori. We just kept discussing strategy and making adjustments to keep offers flowing in for the condo. I was also quite impressed with Lori's tactfulness and negotiating skills. We would have overpaid for our new home and wouldn't have gotten nearly what we did for buyer's credits after the home inspection if Lori hadn't paid close attention to tidbits of information about how motivated the seller was. "My experience with Lori was a dream come true by her making. I never thought I could own a home. She made it happen. And she got me into a beautiful, energy-efficient home. I have bad knees, and they were going to have to build my house. She got out of the car and walked on one of the hottest days. The temp showed 107. She went street by street and lot by lot trying to find the flattest lot, so I would not have a sloping driveway or stairs to contend with. And she found one with the mailboxes near the end of my driveway. Because I knew nothing about buying a home, she stayed with me throughout the process, either in person, on the phone, or texting. And whlist there are so many Realtors and realty companies there catering to the vast plethora of remote investors, we just blindly wholeheartedly go back to Lori again and again and again. Thorough investigation: Being remote, one needs to trust one's realtor, which means no half-arsed work.
