Mabel Melton

Mabel moved to Miami in 1967 at age three from her native Cuba, growing up in The Roads neighborhood as her adopted hometown evolved into a vibrant, multicultural metropolis. Today she lives in Palm Beach with her husband, enjoying traveling and visiting their five grown children and two grandchildren.

Prior to her third career in real estate, Mabel served Miami-Dade County government in a variety of capacities. Beginning as a computer data programmer in the Office of the Clerk of the Courts, Mabel was the successive chief of staff for two members of the Board of County Commissioners before providing community outreach at PortMiami. Shifting to the not-for-profit sector, Mabel devoted her marketing and translation talents first to the American Red Cross, Greater Miami and the Keys Chapter, and then to the South Florida Chapter of the National Multiple Sclerosis Society.

Mabel's exceptional people skills and attention to details made real estate a perfect, natural fit. She understands that every client is unique, with individual needs as well as aspirations. Investing the time to know her clients well and to fully understand their real-estate visions, Mabel believes, are critical components for a successful relationship and transaction. Equally important to her are the careful research and preparation necessary to offer every client the broadest array of options, whether a buyer or a seller that along with patience and persistence, which she has in abundance.

She understands the genuine, long-term value of quality construction and marketplace location, which informs her focus on established, high-value neighborhoods such as the Grove, Coral Gables and Pinecrest. Mabel also has represented corporate and commercial clients with the same tenacity she invests for every residential client, no matter the magnitude of the mission at hand.
