Mairéad Garry

Mairéad Garry is a Licensed Real Estate Salesperson and member of The McCooey Olivieri Team. She brings a thoughtful, design-oriented perspective to residential real estate, helping buyers, sellers, landlords, and tenants recognize both the immediate appeal and long-term potential of a home.

Before entering real estate, Mairéad built a successful career in television and media production, most recently with NBC News. That background strengthened her ability to manage complex details, communicate clearly, work effectively under pressure, and guide clients through important decisions with composure. Her interest in historic homes, Feng Shui, interior design, and spatial planning gives her a distinct ability to evaluate a property’s possibilities and help clients envision how a space can be improved, presented, or transformed.

For sellers, Mairéad offers an informed perspective on presentation, staging, and creating an emotional connection with prospective buyers. For buyers, she helps identify a home’s potential beyond its current condition, offering practical insight into layout, flow, design, and future value. Her early real estate work also includes rental representation, which has strengthened her market awareness and allowed her to build lasting relationships with clients at every stage of their housing journey.

A graduate of Boston College, Mairéad lives in Garden City with her husband and three children. She is active in the Garden City PTA, serves on the board of Garden City Nursery School, and is a member of the Sacred Heart Academy Advisory Board. She is also pursuing a certificate in Interior Design, further expanding the value she provides to clients before, during, and after a sale or purchase.
