Marc Bennett

Marc Bennett was born and raised in Louisville, Kentucky until the age of seven when his parents moved to North Carolina, then New York, ultimately settling in Saratoga Springs where he graduated high school in 1992.

While on a ski trip with his best friend in 1995, Marc discovered the magic of the Yampa Valley. Like many who have moved to this part of Colorado for the amazing winters, he discovered that during the summer his love for Steamboat Springs truly shines. Marc is an avid hiker, cyclist, camper, canoer, and fisherman. These activities keep him anchored in our special mountain town while awaiting the deep powder days of winter.

Marc's passions have led him through a variety of professions.  He has worked in a handful of Steamboat's finest restaurants, has been a snowmobile guide, has worked as a wine educator and manager for Steamboat's largest liquor store, and an outside sales rep for a regional beverage company.  In 2018 Marc began his career as a real estate broker. 

With a long work history in various customer service-related roles, he looks at being a real estate broker as the ultimate form of customer service. Marc knows that buying or selling a home can be one of the most important decisions a person will ever make, and he is dedicated to providing his clients with exceptional service and expert guidance throughout the entire process.

Marc takes the time to truly understand his clients' needs, preferences, and goals. Whether they are first-time buyers or seasoned investors, he works tirelessly to find the perfect property or buyer to meet their unique needs. He believes the key to success in real estate is building strong relationships built on trust, transparency, and open communication.

Marc has lived in the Yampa Valley for nearly 30 years, met and married his wife in Steamboat, and he has lived in many of the various neighborhoods and regions in the valley including Stagecoach, west Steamboat, Fairview, and the mountain area. The real life experience of living in such diverse locations is a huge benefit for his clients when they are considering purchasing or selling homes in various locations throughout the valley. 

Marc has attained certifications as a Real Estate Negotiation Expert (RENE), Realtor Commitment to Excellence (C2EX),  and Resort and Second Home Property Specialist (RSPS). He is currently studying the CCIM CI103 course on his way to the Certified Commercial Investment Member designation through the CCIM institute.

Marc is happy to share his love for Steamboat with his clients.
