Marel, is absolutely the most gifted and professional realtor out there and I cannot recommend her highly enough. She helped us find our dream house in less than one month, and we never would have gotten it without her. "Marel was hard charging for me from day one. The property I wanted to see, and ended up buying, wasn't available for buyers to view. Regardless she pushed and got me a viewing before they had even cleaned the place to start showings. This gave me a significant advantage in not entering a bidding war, and I have little doubt is what got me into my first home! She is always very prompt in responding to all forms of communication, and while she is knowledgeable, she was quick to find answers to any questions she didn't know (I had A LOT of questions). Despite sellers offering absolutely zero credits, Marel even negotiated the agent provide me credits while taking a cut on their commission! Major diplomacy points. Highly recommended!"

Leading by example, Marel began building her own real estate portfolio at age 25 with the purchase of a multi-family property in North Park. After owner-occupying the duplex for one year, she went on to purchase a single-family home in Del Cerro at age 26, followed by a duplex in Hillcrest at age 27. Today, she personally manages her properties, which include three long-term rentals and one short-term furnished rental. With a strong passion for interior design, Marel has designed and overseen the remodels of all her properties and also freelances design services for clients.
Before transitioning into real estate, Marel worked in the fitness industry, helping clients achieve their goals, and coached competitive soccer. As an award-winning collegiate athlete with over a decade of competitive sports experience and multiple bodybuilding competitions, she brings discipline, resilience, and determination to everything she does, qualities she applies daily to helping her clients achieve their real estate goals. Marel holds a Communications degree from San Diego State University.
Outside of real estate, Marel enjoys traveling, staying active at the gym, exploring San Diegoās restaurant scene, reading, shopping, and spending time with her Goldendoodle, River.
