    About Margot

Before Margot Wallen sold her first home, she had already spent 15 years operating at the highest levels of corporate technology — managing multi-million-dollar programs at Amazon, Nordstrom, Getty Images, and MRM Worldwide, where her stakeholders were senior executives and the margin for error was zero. That career didn't just prepare her for real estate. It fundamentally shaped how she does it.

Her clients feel the difference immediately. She moves fast — not in a way that rushes anyone, but in a way that creates calm. She listens before she advises. She follows through on everything she said she would, long after the closing. And she never mistakes her timeline for yours. One client who had bought and sold seven homes called her the best agent she'd ever worked with. Another described her as someone who "anticipates needs you didn't even know you had."

That's the experience Margot delivers consistently — whether she's earning the trust of a first-time buyer or representing a seller on a multi-million dollar transaction. Since entering real estate in 2021, she has closed over $65M for more than 50 clients across the Greater Seattle area, with individual sales ranging well into the millions.

Named to Seattle Agent Magazine's Who's Who in Seattle Real Estate in 2023, Margot is a Seattle native who lives in Montlake. She donates a portion of every closed transaction to Seattle-area animal shelters, and volunteers with Compass Housing Alliance's Cascade Women's Program — showing up for whatever the women need, whether that's raising money to decorate for the holidays, coordinating haircuts, or organizing financial literacy classes.

Margot stays in touch long after closing because the transaction was never really the point — and her clients don't just come back. They send their friends, their colleagues, and their family.

    CLIENT TESTIMONIALS

Margot is the best agent I have ever had (and I have bought and sold 7 houses).

Margot was absolutely amazing in helping sell my house in Sunset Hill. There were a few complexities in negotiations and the closing process and Margot navigated them perfectly - making sure I understood all the steps involved and being there to quickly resolve questions. She is extremely client focused and maintained a positive attitude no matter what came her way. I highly recommend Margot - she is the best agent I have ever had (and I have bought and sold 7 houses). So glad I got to work with her! – Ann W.

Margot’s keen eye for design & presentation brought out the best features of the home, ensuring it stood out to potential buyers.

I can’t recommend Margot Wallen highly enough to sell your home. Margot was remarkably easy to work with, incredibly collaborative, and always kept me in the loop. Her deep knowledge of market dynamics made a huge difference in pricing and positioning the property effectively. Beyond that, Margot guided us through every step of the documentation and overall process with professionalism and care. Her keen eye for design and presentation brought out the best features of the home, ensuring it stood out to potential buyers. If you need a realtor who’s professional, strategic and creative, look no further than Margot Wallen. – Jason P.

We love working with Margot (3 transactions now) and would recommend her to anyone.

We are so grateful for Margot helping us find our dream home, not once but twice! The negotiation and contract process for our latest home purchase threw us some curveballs, but Margot was steady, communicative, and knowledgeable at every turn. She wasn't just a guide for us but our biggest advocate. Her eye for detail, persistence, and experience were undoubtedly key in successfully closing on our home in a way that felt empowering and positive for us. Then, she helped us seamlessly sell the home we moved out of in a short amount of time. We love working with Margot (3 transactions now) and would recommend her to anyone who wants a blend of diligence, wisdom, and FUN in a real estate agent who will be their champion.  – Elizabeth B.

    Margot isn’t just a realtor; she’s a rare ally.

If you want a realtor who combines skill, integrity, and genuine care—someone who doesn’t just get you a house but gets YOU—stop looking. Margot isn’t just a realtor; she’s a rare ally. I’ve now bought (2023) and sold (2025) a home with Margot — which, if you’re keeping score, means I voluntarily gave her my emotional well-being twice and somehow still came out laughing and we’re still friends! What sets her apart isn’t just her market expertise (though, yes, she’s scary good at that) or her negotiation skills (also incredibly effective). It’s the humanity she brings to the table. She remembers you like a friend, not a file. She cracks jokes that actually land. She reads the room like a sommelier reading a wine list—knowing exactly when to push, when to pause, and when you just need a coffee and a pep talk. Selling a house is stressful; especially when you’re out of state. Buying a house is stressful. Doing both with the same person? Potential recipe for chaos. And yet, Margot made it seamless. She anticipates needs you didn’t even know you had, responds faster than you can type “counteroffer,” and treats every showing, negotiation, and inspection like it’s a VIP guest experience; somehow less painful than it has any right to be. Working with Margot doesn’t feel like a transaction; it feels like having a trusted advisor in your corner who genuinely cares about your experience, your goals, and your sanity. Her instinct for the market, knowing not just how to list a home, but precisely how to position it so it sells efficiently and at maximum value. That kind of intuition separates top-tier realtors from the rest. Somehow keeping things light with just the right amount of humor. If you’re looking for a realtor, this is your person. – Patrick W.

What sets Margot apart is her amazing attention to detail.

We recently relocated to Washington State and had the pleasure of working with Margot Wallen on our home purchase. Margot is an experienced, knowledgeable, and highly-personable real estate agent, who worked with us to view and close on a home purchase in Bellevue, WA under a very tight, one-week timeline. She guided us through submitting an offer, an intense price negotiation, a next day home inspection, and ultimate purchase of a home we absolutely love. We are experienced homebuyers and homeowners, and what sets Margot apart is her amazing attention to detail. She advised us on the exceptional quality of the home build, took the time to answer all of our questions, and kept track of every last detail, both pre- and post-sale. Margot also distinguishes herself in that she goes above and beyond for her clients. She facilitated our purchasing some of the furniture in the house from the stager, suggested preferred service providers, and provided insights into our new neighborhood, including favorite restaurants and coffee shops, as well as for other things to see and do in WA state. Margot is a consummate professional, a refined communicator, and an absolute pleasure to work with. I wholeheartedly recommend Margot to anyone looking to purchase a home. – Eleanor A.

We weren't in a rush, and Margot respected our pace and our process.

We had a great experience with Margot in buying our house in Seattle. We were downsizing empty nesters looking for a neighborhood that fostered a real sense of community while also being easily walkable and accessible via public transit. So Margot helped us explore many different housing options - from condos to floating homes to single-family homes - in communities all over the city. She was very knowledgeable about the various neighborhoods and the different pricing strategies for each. We were not in a huge rush, and Margot respected our pace and our process. We landed in a great neighborhood, buying a new home for well below asking in a tight market. Margot was particularly helpful post-offer, seeing that the builder addressed all the punch list items. We are very happy with how it all turned out! – Paul D.

Margot’s guidance was both practical and deeply human.

At a time in my life when everything felt uncertain, I knew I needed a home that could be a true reset—a space that felt like mine, where my daughter and I could begin to build something new. Margot immediately understood that this was more than just a move. She treated my home search with the same care, attention, and thoughtfulness she gives every client, no matter the price point. She was steady, insightful, and completely attuned to what I needed—even when I couldn’t fully articulate it myself. Margot helped me understand the market, strategize offers that were competitive yet realistic, and guided me with a calm, confident presence that made me feel fully supported. She built strong relationships with listing agents, which provided me with valuable insight into properties and sellers. Even while traveling, she ensured everything was in place for a successful offer. After the purchase, she continued to be a resource, connecting me with the right people to tackle projects and truly settle in. Throughout the journey, her guidance was both practical and deeply human. When we found the right place, I felt it in my bones. I’m so grateful to Margot for helping me create a fresh start that feels strong, peaceful, and completely ours. – Emily Z.

You can count on Margot to be 110% on your side to get you what you want.

Margot was such a fantastic agent to work with. She worked with us on a unique property in Seattle that we were unfamiliar with. She was extremely tenacious in digging into the details, learning up on the property peculiarities, and finding resources for us to understand what we were getting ourselves into. Not only that, she is also extremely patient in the negotiation process and gauged our temperature on how willing we were to spend and bargain. You can count on her to be 110% on your side to get you what you want. And if it fails the first, second or third time, she’s still there with the same vigor to get you your dream place. Go with Margot, you won’t be disappointed  – S. W.
