While born and raised in New York City, Maria has called Greenwich, CT home since 2007. A passion for real estate and the desire to work hard were ingrained in her thanks to her immigrant parents from southern Italy, who pursued their American dream by investing in property.
A graduate of Fashion Institute of Technology, Maria had a successful career as swimwear designer responsible for developing multi-million dollar private label programs. This required strict adherence to timing and deadlines, finesse in managing cost constraints, and the vision to conceive compelling on-trend products that performed well at retail. Traveling the world cultivated her creativity, while dealing with factories in Asia honed her shrew negotiating skills. Maria and her husband Keith, a lifelong Greenwich resident, live in Cos Cob with their dog, Cooper. Other fun facts about Maria: she is a former board member of Highwater Women, one of the first organizations to provide backpacks to 50,000 NYC children. Maria spearheaded the expansion of the backpack drive to serve Greenwich and Stamford kids as well. She’s also a former chairwoman of Patient Airlift Services’ annual drive to raise funds for air transport to patients needing lifesaving care. Maria is additionally involved with Shatterproof, Patient Airlift Services and supports the Boys & Girls Club, Red Cross and Free Arts NY.
She’s a member of The Stanwich Club and Saucon Valley CC where she loves playing golf with friends, family and clients.
