Maria is a Sr. Sales Manager for Compass Ft Lauderdale and Broward County, hosting some of the City's top-producing agents. Maria has been in the real estate industry for 22 years. During that time she spent 15 years in the field as an agent.

Prior to joining Compass, Maria managed operations in the Aventura area for a Real Estate Boutique Brokerage, while also managing ICS Clear Processing and ICS Global. She was born and raised in Lima, Peru. She moved to Miami when she was 18 and attended Barry University, where she earned a Bachelor’s Degree in Business Management. She has 25+ years of customer service, product training, and sales management experience, assisting clients from every continent. Maria has been trained and inspired by some of the best in the Real Estate and Financial industries.

During her leadership of the Fort Lauderdale office, the market achieved #1 market share in Fort Lauderdale in 2019 and has maintained that position consistently since, expanding that leadership across both Fort Lauderdale and Broward County. Compass Fort Lauderdale also became the first Compass sub-market in Florida to reach #1 market share, setting a benchmark for performance across the state.

She loves meeting and establishing relationships with people from all walks of life. She uses her experience and foresight to proactively address details before they become a problem. Mother of 2 and married for 23 years, she enjoys traveling with her family and finding new restaurants - but nothing compares to her homemade Peruvian cuisine!
