Maria Sakellis

Maria’s passion for real estate stems from her mother’s influence as a seasoned broker which ultimately inspired her to also pursue a career in real estate. Maria worked alongside her mother for many years, learning the intricacies of the business. Her dedication to connecting with people, building trust, and genuinely understanding clients’ needs later led her to a successful 22-year career in the hedge fund industry. Maria holds a BBA in Public Accounting from Pace University and is a Certified Public Accountant.

Through her husband, an established real estate developer, Maria has first-hand experience renovating and developing homes. One of their proudest accomplishments is the 18-month custom renovation of their Manhasset home where they currently reside with their two children. Maria is also well versed in the management and maintenance of investment properties - not only in her own personal dealings but for her accounting and real estate clients as well.

With her diverse background, Maria brings a wealth of knowledge and expertise to her clientele. Maria’s skill set enables her to analyze data, negotiate effectively, and navigate the fast-paced market, which is necessary for remaining current on applicable real estate trends. Whether an investor, buyer, seller, or landlord, Maria has the in-depth industry experience to help guide you.

Growing up in Queens, living in Manhasset, and having owned properties on both the North and South shores, Maria’s network runs the gamut across all of Long Island which gives her comprehensive knowledge of many different communities and neighborhoods.

Maria is of Greek descent and speaks the language fluently. She feels extremely grateful to have grown up in a tight-knit community where togetherness and philanthropy are paramount. Maria is the co-founder and former Treasurer of the Carnival of Love Foundation, a 501(c)(3) non-profit organization that raises funds and awareness for children with autism and special needs.
