A Brooklyn resident who lived in the West Village for 12 years, Maria Szakacs entered the world of residential real estate while living in Laguna Beach, CA where she sold luxury coastal property. She came to real estate after a highly successful career in sales and marketing. Working on both the agency and client sides developing world-class brands at MTV, ABC and Disney, she spent more than 20 years creating and implementing innovative promotional campaigns while managing multi-million dollar budgets. Along the way, she honed a number of skills that prove invaluable to her real estate clients in her career today—the most critical being a superior capacity for effective high-level negotiation.
