About Marianna
Strong interpersonal skills, an extensive background in finance, and a deep love of New York City all contribute to Marianna’s role as an invaluable resource for buyers, sellers, and investors throughout the five boroughs. Originally from Ukraine, Marianna came to New York at age eight and has remained a New Yorker for over 30 years. Along with a nuanced understanding of NYC, Marianna’s clients value her analytical approach, sophisticated negotiation skills, and attentive client relationships. She began developing this reputation for excellence—as well as a successful 14-year career in finance—at an early age. She became an AIG intern on Wall Street when she was only 16, before going on to graduate Magna Cum Laude from New York University with a BA in Economics and complete advanced coursework at the London School of Economics. 

After progressing through a series of leadership roles with some of the world’s top financial institutions, she was ready for a new challenge: real estate. Now, Marianna’s current role at Compass provides the perfect opportunity to combine her expertise in finance and international investing with her passion for all things NYC. Specializing in residential sales and investment properties, she works confidently with a diverse range of clients throughout the City, with a strong focus on Manhattan and Brooklyn. Her background in international finance, fluency in Russian, and proficiency in Spanish makes her an invaluable resource for international investors, whereas living the majority of her life in New York has made her an equally capable guide for an eclectic network of buyers and sellers.

From navigating geography to educating her clients about a given neighborhood’s charm and restaurant scene, Marianna’s clients appreciate not only her extensive knowledge of local real estate and financial markets but also her commitment to listening carefully to their needs and making a point to not only meet but also exceed their expectations.
