Maricela brings a rare combination of empathy and operational expertise to every real estate transaction. She holds a Bachelor's degree in Sociology from the University of Oregon and a Master's degree in Social Work from the University of Hawaii — a foundation that shapes how she listens to clients, anticipates their needs, and guides them through one of life's biggest decisions with genuine care.

Before joining East Bay Home Transitions in 2022, Maricela spent years as a property manager for multifamily housing, building a deep, practical understanding of real estate operations, tenant relationships, and the logistics of home transitions. That background gives her clients a distinct advantage: she doesn't just help them find a home, she helps them navigate the entire process — financing, inspections, negotiations, and paperwork — with clarity and confidence. She draws on the team's strong East Bay market presence and network of listing agent relationships to help clients access opportunities other buyers might miss.

Maricela is known for creative problem-solving under pressure, and for staying steady when transactions get complicated. Her favorite part of the job is simple: handing over the keys to a first-time homeowner. That moment is what drives her through the long hours and demanding schedule that come with being a Realtor®.

A longtime Alameda resident of nearly 15 years, Maricela is deeply connected to the East Bay community she serves. Originally from Honolulu, she brings an easygoing, aloha-inspired warmth to her client relationships, along with genuine local knowledge — from favorite hiking trails to standout restaurants — that helps clients feel at home long before closing day.

Outside of work, Maricela walks her two pitbulls and is a very determined plant parent still working on her green thumb.
