About Marie
Marie Carson provides an enormous benefit to her clients with knowledge and skills acquired through 20 years as a licensed real estate agent and her involvement in more than 1500 real estate transactions in her career. Through these experiences, she provides valuable guidance and support to help clients evaluate the economic attributes of buying or selling taking into consideration their lifestyle, stage of life and financial goals. Whether it is a moderately priced home for a first-time buyer, evaluating an investment property, or the sale of a luxury estate, Marie understands her clients are entering into an extremely important and exciting decision. For her investors, she provides an expertise in finding and guiding them into properties to fit their portfolio objectives. Her unique background allows her to thrive in high-pressure situations and communicate with a wide range of clientele guided by her own astonishing life experiences.
Speaking of astonishing life experiences, and before we dive into her accolades, we have to take a moment and praise Marie’s braveness when she received a bone marrow transplant during her fight with Acute Leukemia. She credits her recovery to years of an active and healthy lifestyle through good nutrition, yoga, running, cross fit and more. She was able to fight the “good” fight and come out on top. Like we said, she’s pretty astonishing and nothing stands in her way.
Prior to giving cancer a mean right hook, she received her MBA from the University of the Pacific, Summa Cum Laude. During her educational endeavors, she acquired her California Real Estate license and began working with top producers in the Sacramento/El Dorado Hills markets. She acquired her Texas Real Estate license when she transitioned to Austin in 2005 acquiring a Team Leader/Business Management role for a nationally recognized, top-producing real estate team and was involved in the training and development of new sales agents as well as strategic business development.
She is a proud mother to two grown children – her son is a 17-year veteran in the US Army and her daughter has recently become a licensed real estate agent. In the blink of an eye, she is blessed with 6 beautiful grandchildren. She is passionate about gardening and has a love for arranging flowers, baking specialty cakes, and appreciates the local country music history and culture. You can find her and her husband out and about at local eateries as they meet up with friends and family.
