About Marissa

Originally from a suburb just north of Boston, Marissa Nerenburg relocated to South Florida in search of a more vibrant, outdoor lifestyle. She quickly found what she was looking for in Jupiter and Palm Beach County and, nearly five years later, continues to be inspired by the year-round sunshine, coastal charm, and unbeatable quality of life the area offers.

Before beginning her career in real estate, Marissa spent over 15 years in the field of education, holding leadership roles in college admissions, special education, and school district administration. Known for her attention to detail, strong communication skills, and passion for helping others, she found that her experience naturally aligned with real estate. After attending an industry event at the Meyer Lucas Team headquarters, The Mother Ship, Marissa was drawn to the team’s energy, collaboration, and shared values. She knew she had found the right fit and joined a group where her skills and drive could truly thrive.

In 2025, Marissa joined the award-winning Meyer Lucas Team at Compass, a nationally recognized, top-producing team known for its market expertise, strategic negotiation, and commitment to client-first service. Backed by a deep understanding of how to guide people through high-stakes decisions, she brings empathy, structure, and professionalism to every transaction. Whether working with buyers, sellers, or investors, Marissa is focused on delivering a seamless and supportive experience from start to finish.

She earned a Bachelor of Arts in Psychology from the University of Massachusetts, a Master’s Degree in Education – Moderate Disabilities from American International College, and a Certificate of Advanced Graduate Studies in Educational Leadership from New England College, where she earned her principal certification.

Outside of real estate, Marissa is a Certified Advanced Open Water Diver and loves spending time on the water exploring local dive sites around Jupiter and Palm Beach—some of her favorites in the world. She also enjoys traveling, working out with her son, riding roller coasters, and off-roading on ATVs.
