"We had the good fortune of meeting Mark and Jessica, a member of his team,
at an open house early in our home search. We reached out to them a couple
months later when we were ready to seriously begin looking, and they
responded to us immediately to begin working together. Here are some things
we especially loved about working with Mark and Jessica:
1. Mark and Jessica set up a meeting with us to explain the ins and outs of
home buying in LA, which included a helpful powerpoint we got to keep for
our reference throughout the process. This was especially helpful to us as
first time home buyers. It answered most of our questions and provided a
space for us to get the specifics clarified.
2. Mark and Jessica were flexible and patient with us as we honed in on the
specifics of our search. At a couple points during our time working with
them we tweaked the details of what we were looking for and what areas we
were interested in. Mark and Jessica didn't have any problem with this and
were patient and flexible with us as we decided what was important to us in
a home.
3. Mark and Jessica were always available to us by phone or email and had
extremely fast response times. This was especially important to us as we
learned how quickly the market moves in LA.
4. Mark and Jessica were willing to put in some extra, after-hours work
when we decided to submit an offer, making sure that our offer was the
first received for our home. We ultimately think this helped our offer get
accepted, and are so thankful they were willing to move so quickly in
making this happen for us.
5. After we had our offer accepted Mark and Jessica (and their assistant)
continued to walk us through the escrow process, answer any questions we
had, contact the listing agent as often as needed to follow up on
questions, and set up appointments with inspectors. Going through the
closing process was so much easier knowing we had agents we trusted to make
sure everything happened on time and have our best interests in mind.
6. Mark and Jessica are truly fun people to be around, which is important
when you are going around the city with them looking at properties!
