Martha Hughes

Martha Hughes is a local and independent real estate advisor serving Santa Cruz County and North Monterey County since 1996, focusing on residential sales and income properties. Martha has called Santa Cruz home for over thirty five years, raised her family here, and proud to be part of our vibrant community in one of the most beautiful spots on the Monterey Bay. In 1979, Martha helped her late husband begin Hughes Custom Homes. “Having owned a building business is an asset in so many areas of my residential real estate business. It helps my clients tremendously.” With focus on community, schools, the arts, and volunteering, prior to real estate, Martha was a ten-year, full-time volunteer at her daughters’ school; everything from head of the PTA and Site Council to art teacher.
