" I had been wanting to sell my home of 17 years and buy something nicer in a better part of town. Although it seemed strange to do during a pandemic, I wanted to take advantage of low interest rates. Martha helped find a crew to update my old house. We ended up getting several excellent offers the first few days it was on the market. Finding a new house was more difficult because a lot of people are taking advantage of relatively low home prices in our area in comparison to the rest of the state. I put in several offers and just missed being picked a few times. I was getting worried that I would not be able to find anything, but Martha assured me that we would. We ended up finding a beautiful home much closer to my work and in a nice neighborhood. We had an issue with the appraisal coming in much lower than my offer (and the asking price), but Martha assured me we could work it out. We quickly came to an agreement with the seller, and we ended up closing in just a little over 30 days. My daughter and I are thrilled to be out of the old house and in our new one.
