Martina Biegel

After growing up in Orange County, CA, Martina moved to Los Angeles to attend USC and study Real Estate Finance at the Marshall School of Business. Upon graduation she moved to West LA and has been working in the real estate industry ever since. Martina started her career as an analyst in various asset management, finance and acquisitions capacities at two of the largest real estate investment trusts in Los Angeles – Kilroy Realty and Hudson Pacific Properties. After a couple years of crunching numbers for large portfolios of properties, she realized her true passion was to work directly with the properties themselves and the owners who inhabited them. Growing up as a first generation Croatian-American, she had been very involved in her immigrant father’s residential construction business and had developed a passion for homes and eye for design. After leaving the REIT, she studied interior design at the Interior Design Institute in Newport Beach. After a few years running her own interior design business and working on a number of fun projects with fantastic clients, she decided to bring everything together – her experience with properties and design, as well as her understanding of the real estate markets and numbers – and join Compass as an Agent. At Compass, Martina is confident she can provide substantial expertise to clients looking to buy and sell properties in both the Los Angeles and Orange County areas.

On the personal side, Martina lives in beautiful Mar Vista with her husband and daughter. In her spare time, she is either eating her way through LA or planning her next family trip.
