"My husband and I are so grateful to Mary Ellen and her team for helping us buy our first house in Louisville. We were a little anxious about looking at houses during the time of COVID but she was well prepared with gloves and hand sanitizer, and she always wore a mask and kept a good distance so we felt comfortable. She patiently showed us many houses in different areas and quickly got a feel for what we liked, so much so that she was able to set up a showing for a house the day it went on the market before we'd even seen the listing. "Mary Ellen was exactly what we needed as first time homebuyers. She was patient and thorough when walking us through the process, had a long list of local vendors for all of our needs (lenders, inspection, etc), and was entirely honest with us when we were looking at properties. If she thought there were issues with a house she wouldn't sugarcoat it and I never felt like she was pushing us to buy before we were ready. We were looking throughout Boulder County and she made sure we could see multiple houses on each trip, regardless of how far apart, to ensure we didn't miss anything especially given COVID19 restrictions with no open houses. I love being a Realtor® because it’s about developing relationships and helping people achieve their goals and dreams. I’ve worked hard to earn my clients’ trust by providing unparalleled customer service in my over 12 years as a Realtor. Many of my clients relate to the discipline and processes of my engineering background, which has proven useful in my real estate career.

Born and raised in Massachusetts, I moved to Colorado in 1997. I've lived in beautiful places such as Boulder, Telluride, and Breckenridge and settled in the lovely small city of Louisville in 2009. I have two teenagers at Monarch High School and am involved with school activities and the parent teacher organization.

Getting back to my roots, I recently purchased a 1925 seasonal beach cottage on Cape Cod. I turned it into a year-round home and spend much of my time there. I hold real estate licenses in Boulder with Compass and in Massachusetts with the Compass Kinlin Grover office in Harwich. My background is diverse. I have a degree in electrical engineering and a master’s in computer and systems engineering and started my career as a software engineer. I spent several years in the high-tech industry handling technical sales and product management. My passion has always been residential renovation and design. Over the past 25 years I’ve bought, renovated, rented, and/or sold many of my own properties. I am not just a residential expert, but also understand the industry from the client’s perspective.
