"I met Mary in 2007 via a mutual friend. She helped me buy my first condo in Alexandria. Through that buying process, I was already impressed with Mary's accessibility, diligence, and her desire to provide wise counsel based on her adroit knowledge of the local market conditions. I already knew at that time that I had met someone I'd know for years to come -- but I had yet to understand the depth of her dedication to her craft. At the end of 2007, I was ordered to deploy to Iraq as an individual augmentee. As a single service member, I had very little support to watch my affairs while I executed a 15-month deployment.
