Since beginning her real estate career in 2015, Mary Kate has gained extensive experience in residential sales, real estate investment, development, property management, and commercial sales and leasing. As a co-leader of The Garman Group at Compass, she plays an integral role in the team's day-to-day operations, business development, and continued growth. Whether she's helping a family find their next home, guiding a seller through the listing process, or working with investors to maximize their properties' potential, Mary Kate prides herself on being a knowledgeable, honest, and dependable resource.

Beyond real estate, Mary Kate is passionate about showcasing the people, places, and businesses that make Wilmington such a special place to live. Alongside her husband and business partner, Vince, she co-hosts Life on the Ave, a podcast highlighting local entrepreneurs, community leaders, and the stories behind the businesses and people shaping the Wilmington area. Through the podcast and The Garman Group's growing social media presence, Mary Kate and her team are finding creative ways to connect with the community, champion small businesses, and share an authentic look at life in Wilmington. A graduate of the University of Delaware with a bachelor's degree in management, Mary Kate began her professional career in human resources at Barclays Bank before finding her passion in real estate.

Mary Kate lives in Wilmington's Trolley Square neighborhood with Vince and their three children. A proud graduate of Ursuline Academy, she loves raising her family in the same community where she grew up. When she's not showing homes, managing properties, recording podcast episodes, or creating content with her team, you'll most likely find her spending time with her kids, exploring local Wilmington favorites, or squeezing in a Peloton ride at home.
