About Mary
A fifth-generation Dallas native with a dedication to serving others, Mary has always been intrigued by Dallas's history, architecture, and neighborhoods. Her first certification after receiving her Real Estate License was to become a Historical Home Specialist. She believes that preserving neighborhoods and their diversity is key to keeping Dallas's legacy alive. She has lived and sold homes in most of Dallas's Historic/Conservation Districts including Munger Place, Junius Heights, M Streets, Lake Cliff, Lakewood, and Kessler Park. Her clients appreciate her knowledge of both the areas and the architectural elements of the historic homes.

Continuing her love of learning, she earned a Graduate Realtor Institute (GRI) designation from the National Association of Realtors, Seniors Real Estate Specialist and Luxury Home Marketing Specialist. She is an active member of Preservation Dallas, serves on the board of Lakewood Service League, and volunteers at Chance's Cafe and Belong Disability Ministry at HPUMC. In addition, she has started a foundation, Angel Wings Music Therapy, that provides music therapy to adults with disabilities. This foundation honors her late daughter, Katie Passmore.

Mary has been named a Top Producer in Real Estate and a D Best Realtor by D Magazine since 2021.

Mary and her husband, Jim, restored a 1932 Tudor in the Lakewood Conservation District which happens to be around the corner from where her great-grandparents owned a home. Many of the items in the home are "upcycled" which she found scouring Roundtop, salvage stores and estate sales.

In her free time, you’ll find Mary playing tennis or Mahjong, entering Texas State Fair contests, or vacationing anytime she can get away.

"My fiance and I found an amazing house with Mary's help that we absolutely love and can't wait to move into once we finish the remodeling. She had great insight into what we wanted to do and the value that would bring both in the short and the long term. She made the entire process easy with her close attention to detail and her first-hand knowledge of the neighborhood" -Allyson A.

"I would highly recommend Mary to buy or sell your next home! She is a pleasure to work with and has great ideas especially if you struggle to "see the potential" in older homes that need some updating! From start to finish, she was phenomenal!"- Chris J.
