About Mary
Mary was born in Texas but grew up in Jackson, Mississippi. Her family was transferred to Austin in 1970, and at the time, it was a very small town complete with cowboys and hippies!
She moved to Lago Vista in the 1980s and worked for the development firm of NRC. She quickly decided that the real estate industry was her passion, and she became a licensed agent. However, as the oil crisis of the '80s created a serious decline in real estate values and sales, her real estate career was put on hold. In the interim, she birthed a hugely successful wholesale food business (salsa and hot sauces under the brand name of Tres Chic of Texas, Inc.)
In 2000, she sold that business and launched back into the real estate market, as she truly enjoyed helping people with their real estate needs. Over the past years, she has built lasting relationships with satisfied home buyers and sellers and has helped many on multiple transactions. The majority of her work is repeat clients, their friends and family, and other referral business. She has consistently been a Top Producer and has many awards for her efforts.
Mary is a member of the Austin Board of Realtors, Texas Association of Realtors, and National Association of Realtors. She has been recognized as a FIVE Star Real Estate Agent by readers of Texas Monthly, a highly prestigious honor.
When not busy at work, she enjoys spending time with her two adult children, three grandchildren, and lots of other loving family and friends. She also enjoys Fantasy Football, playing Canasta with neighborhood friends, and traveling.
