With 15 years of experience living in the Bay Area, Maryam has an intimate knowledge of the region, making her a valuable guide for clients looking to buy, sell, or invest in the area and greater California. Maryam also assists her clients in exploring international opportunities in Dubai and Europe.
While living and working in Rome, she led an extraordinary office conversion of a historic 18th-century building. This kindled her passion for architecture, which led her to pursue an associate degree in architecture.
Prior to joining Compass to pursue her passion for homes and architecture, she specialized in land transactions for the hospitality industry. A great addition to the crew, Maryam’s genuine nature and deep care for her clients are evident in her aims to under-promise and over-deliver, with prompt, hands-on communication. On the development side, Maryam is currently spearheading the development of a sustainable wellness resort in the Alentejo region in Portugal, and a ground-up condo development in Porto, Portugal. She also offers support in remodeling, as well as interior and garden design, making her a holistic resource for her clients.
Passionate about the arts and music, Maryam has held many volunteer leadership roles at the San Francisco Symphony Volunteer Council, including co-chairing the Opening Night Gala Supper at City Hall, and was named "volunteer of the year" in 2019. She also sings with the SF Choral Society under Maestro Robert Geary.
