"We moved to California from out of state and did not have an established real estate contact. We had a previous relationship with another agent which we were compelled to terminate. We were referred to MaryJane and were cautious about working with yet another person that we did not know personally. From the beginning, MaryJane put us at ease with her pleasant and professional manner. She is very knowledgeable about the real estate market in the area in which we were looking to buy. MaryJane was excellent on keeping us informed of available properties. She would call us several times per week as properties came on the market. She had discussed our wants and needs with us so she knew what we were looking for. The houses that she presented to us were appropriate for us to look at so we never felt that we were looking at a property that was a waste of our time. MaryJane was responsive to phone calls. We seldom needed to call her. Due to our unconventional schedule it was difficult to meet during typical hours. When our house was under contract she was exceptional at communicating the progress. She would call and give us an update even if there were no change from the previous day. The first house that we had a contract on was a short sale. We are not very knowledgeable about this area in real estate. Mary Jane was an immense help in this area. We were relying on her experience in navigating the complexities of short sales. Ultimately, we withdrew the offer on the home. We did rely on MaryJane’s advisement on when to move on to another purchase option rather than being subject to the whims of the bank negotiator. During the buying process we had opportunities to talk with other realtors. Everyone had only positive things to say regarding MaryJane.
