About Matt
Matt moved to The Woodlands in 2002 from Austin, TX in pursuit of love and better job prospects!
Lucky for Him, both worked out! Matt and his wife married in 2004 and began building their life together. The Woodlands offered many great opportunities for both personal and professional growth and they quickly integrated into the local community, volunteering regularly at the Cynthia Woods Mitchell Pavilion. He has also been involved with many great local organizations including Veggie Village, CASA, Montgomery County Food Bank, Interfaith and The Woodlands Township.
They purchased their first investment property in 2010 and the seeds of their interest in real estate were firmly planted. His wife Debra became a REALTOR® in 2018 and after 20+ years in corporate positions focused on data analysis, business development and client relationship management, he decided to make the jump as well, joining her to help form Sagebird Realty Group. He enjoys yoga, walking his dogs, gardening, hiking and generally spending as much time as possible outside.
