About The Matt Montgomery Group
The Matt Montgomery Group is one of greater Boston’s premier residential real estate sales and marketing teams. Founded over 20 years ago, Matt and his team have personally conducted nearly 2 billion dollars of residential real estate sales during their combined forty-plus year real estate careers. In December of 2016 they joined Compass as the cornerstone team of the Chestnut Hill office to better position their thriving business for the future and better serve their clients changing needs.
Matt and his team are consistently not only one of the top teams in Newton and Brookline, but also one of the top teams in Massachusetts. Over the past decade he has worked closely with Marissa Jazmin and his long-time partner and operations
manager Katie Faraone to continue growing and refine the exceptional service and
marketing their team provides. Matt has established referral partners in Kelly Farrell Salem and Jon Pucker, previous local agents who have since relocated. Together they are a reliable top producer in the market and a group completely committed to

Matt moved to Newton in 1984 and lives in the heart of Newton Centre with his wife and daughters both of whom attend Newton South High School. He serves as the Vice Chair of the Chestnut Hill Historic District Commission and is a supporter of many local charities and enjoys working with young people working to change their lives and coaching real estate agents and young entrepreneurs in the area. Matt and his wife spend much of their free time traveling, enjoying live music, theatre and the Boston Ballet and are committed to supporting the arts in and around Greater Boston.
