Matt Story is a Louisiana native, raised in Baton Rouge and a proud resident of New Orleans since 2011. As a Realtor with Compass Realty, he brings local knowledge along with a strong work ethic and a client-first mindset to every transaction. From first-time homebuyers to experienced sellers, as well as renters and landlords, Matt believes that every client deserves thoughtful, personalized service. His attention to detail and ability to listen closely are key strengths that set him apart.
In addition to his real estate work, Matt has over 20 years of experience as a Certified Personal Trainer through the International Sports Science Association (ISSA), and currently trains clients at Fit Therapy and SMX Training; both located in the GNO Uptown area. His fitness career has sharpened his communication skills and taught him the value of consistency, accountability, and building lasting relationships.
Matt is also a professional actor and graduate from Louisiana State University with a degree in Performance Arts. As a SAG-AFTRA member and Equity Membership Candidate, he has performed in regional theatre, major films, network television, and has produced original stage works.
Outside of work, Matt enjoys working out, riding his motorcycle, spending time with his lovable French Bulldog named Higgins, and collecting Skeletor action figures from the Masters of the Universe toy line—a nod to his childhood. He remains passionate about acting and looks forward to pursuing more creative projects, including directing and producing, when time allows.
