Matthew Calvin

A lifelong coastal Californian and proud Cal Poly San Luis Obispo graduate, Matthew began his career in property management while still in college, He continued to gain valuable real estate experience while working in the commercial business field in the Santa Barbara, and Ventura areas for the past twelve years. Growing up in the small coastal town of Carpinteria gave Matthew a strong sense of community where he learned the value of hard work, building relationships and giving back. He is said to earn the respect of his clients by working tirelessly on their behalf and treating them like family. Matthew has always had a passion for home and landscape design, and has a good eye for what a home could be. You could say real estate is in his blood, as his 85 year old grandfather is still selling property in the Santa Barbara area.

Relocating to San Diego was a lifelong dream that became a reality in 2017 when Matthew was lucky enough to bring his husband and pet dachshund to live in the vibrant downtown area. An avid Padres fan, an ocean enthusiast, and a travel lover, Matthew has since gained extensive knowledge of the unique lifestyle that makes San Diego such a special city. Matthew has recently joined Compass, San Diego. He looks forward to bringing his passion for real estate to his clients, so they can make their own San Diego dreams a reality.
